Yahoo and Microsoft finally Seal the Deal!

After refusing bids from Microsoft last year and teaming up with Google in a deal which was then withdrawn, struggling Yahoo! has at last sealed the deal with Microsoft.
- Bing is now to power Yahoo! search and search advertising
But wait for it … in about 2 years time (no hurry then!) – so there’s room for things to go wrong and Google to improve.
As far as SEO goes MSN has not really been a major priority in the past, but it could now be worth putting more effort into optimising for Bing.
- Yahoo! will sell ads for Yahoo! and Microsoft
- Microsoft Adcenter will deal with self-serve advertising. Eventually, this could compete against Google Adwords
Lets see what happens!
